Outer Sydney Harbour Explorer - Cancelled

Cancelled due to low number of particants

Join Sea Kayak Instructor Adrian Clayton on an exploration of outer Sydney Harbour.  Be surprised by the ruggedness and remoteness of some parts of the harbour’s shoreline and experience some of the conditions that make sea kayaking such a wonderful area for recreational paddling. After putting in at Clontarf, we’ll do a circuit of the harbour’s more exposed shoreline and undertake a crossing of the Heads (conditions permitting).  We’ll have a couple of shore breaks (one of which will be for lunch).

Harbour Series Open Water Racing - starts 11 February!

The Harbour Racing 'Harbour Series' kicks off at Botany Bay on the 11th February, with the Botany Challenge. Suitable for beginner to expert Open Water paddlers. Check out the event and entry information at 'Harbour Racing'

Assessor and Presenter Training Course

The National Coaching and Officiating Accreditation Schemes (NCAS and NCOS) aim to improve the standard of coaching and officiating in Australia by providing a structured pathway of coach and official education. The NCAS and NOAS utilise competency based training and assessment of coaches and officials that leads to formal accreditation.

Dora Creek and Mysterious Pulbah Island

When Rob and Marg Cook from Lane Cove River Kayakers showed us Lake Macquarie on a beautiful calm day last August, we all said - "More please!" and here it is, this time focused on Dora Creek, which leads into the lake. It's a gentle, sheltered creek with fascinating history and geography.  If conditions are suitable we'll head for Pulbah Island. Take the next exit after Gosford on the F3. A Breeze!

Sea Kayak Adventure - Gunnamatta Bay to Boat Harbour (in Bate Bay) and return

This adventure is for experienced paddlers only and will commence at 8am (for an 8.30am start) and 4pm return, with approximately 3-4 hours of paddling.

Moving Water Training for Guiding Rafts and Kayaks

This course will be run on the Barrington River for participants who want to safely guide rafts or kayaks on Grade 2 water. The course will focus on developing skills to manage risk, read water to competently guide rafts and kayaks, understand dangers to swimmers in rivers.
