Moving Water Training for Guiding Rafts and Kayaks
This course will be run on the Barrington River for participants who want to safely guide rafts or kayaks on Grade 2 water. The course will focus on developing skills to manage risk, read water to competently guide rafts and kayaks, and understand the dangers to swimmers in rivers.

Each course participant will be required to register and pay $180 each for the course, however, you may register for more particpants for social camping which is available Friday and Saturday evenings. We are charging $14 per night, which is $1 above the BOAC rate - to cover wood and bank charges, etc.
If any of the social participants wish to paddle with the PaddleNSW course, they should discuss with "education" beforehand to see if that is possible as part of the program. A single event membership $22 for the weekend may be required.
Camping is self suffient. Please remember that it is a good 22km back to town. Bring a camp chair, drinking water, swimming gear, appropriate shoes for swimming in and good grip in a raft. Warm clothes, like thermals, dry tops and no cotton.
