Assessor and Presenter Training Course
The National Coaching and Officiating Accreditation Schemes (NCAS and NCOS) aim to improve the standard of coaching and officiating in Australia by providing a structured pathway of coach and official education. The NCAS and NOAS utilise competency based training and assessment of coaches and officials that leads to formal accreditation.
It is important that the quality of presenters and assessment conducted within the NCAS and NOAS is of a high standard. These courses are designed to develop the knowledge and skills of individuals involved with presenting to and assessing NCAS or NOAS candidates so they can be assured they are adhering to competency based training principles.
To successfully complete this course you must attend both days and complete the required work and assessment tasks.

- Presenters role and competency based training
- Planning and preparing a presentation
- Engaging your audience, learning styles and communication skills
- Presentation and teaching methods for theory and practical content
- Facilitation skills and questioning techniques
- Effective use of a range of teaching aids (eg. data projector, video, whiteboards)
- Planning the assessment process
- Assessing competence
