In the next couple of months NSW/ ACT is hosting both the PNSW State Marathon Champs and the National Marathon Champs.

PaddleNSW prepares to deliver PaddleSafe Courses at the new-from-old Sydney Pilot Station. You couldn't wish for a better venue, with the classroom surrounded on three sides with magnificant views, clear crystal waters leading to the Ocean off Watsons Bay, a Ferry Service connecting Sydney Harbour and some of the best seafood outlets in Sydney.

PNSW Marathon State Championships - 14th March 2015 - Entries now OPEN

The PNSW Marathon State Championships will be held at Davistown (Central Coast) on 14th March 2015.

Entries are now open at www.regattas.canoe.org.au or click HERE to enter on-line now.

Updated Rules for 2015 Marathon-10 Series

The Rules for the 2015 Series of the PaddleNSW Marathon-10 events have been released and published to the PNSW website for all Competitors to view. (see attachment)

Anjie Lees breaks world record

Lane Cove marathon paddler Anjie Lees has unofficially broken the record for longest distance paddled in 24hrs on flat water. This was achieved in horrendous conditions on the Molonglo River at BGCC headquarters alongside the annual 24hr relay marathon.

Gaye Hatfield - PaddleNSW Official of the Year

At the PaddleNSW Annual Awards Night held 13 October, hard-working official and PNSW Marathon Committee legend GAYE HATFIELD was suitably recognised as the 2013/14 PNSW Official of the Year.

Gaye continues to provide outstanding service to the Marathon paddling community, the sport and it’s ongoing development. Some of her many, many roles include:

Myall Classic Marathon

On 13 September, nearly 300 paddlers made the journey to Tea Gardens on the Great Lakes for the 2014 Myall Classic Marathon.

A total of  $6,000 has been raised this year in support of the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Congratulations to all involved!

Canberra’s Ben Rake off to the Canoe Marathon World Championships

CANBERRA teen Ben Rake is off to represent Australia as an under 18 in the Canoe Marathon World Championships in Oklahoma later this month.
