Its never too early to start - and find out how fun it can be by coming to Penrith Whitewater Stadium (no you won't be sent down the Olympic Course) on the 29th November at 1230. PaddleNSW gets its junior program off to a flying start with a Come and Try - not only first timers, BUT any young paddler who might like to try paddling a Freestyle Boat, a Polo Bat, a Slalom Boat and a Sprint Boat.

PaddleNSW Marathon-10 Final at Burrill Lake

Beautiful Burrill Lake was the scene for lots of fun and action on 17 October at the PaddleNSW Marathon10 Finals.


RACE 10, the last race of the 2015 M-10 Series, will be run at Burrill Lake on Saturday 17th October.

Hosted by Makai Paddlers, this is always a great day, and one of the best events on the series calender.

The last race for the year, will be followed by the Presentation & Awards Dinner, and promises a great night's entertainment to wrap up the year.

PNSW Marathon 10 Presentation / Awards Dinner

The Presentation/ Awards Dinner will be held on Staurday evening 17th October at Burrill Lakes after the final round of the series. 

Paddlers and frieds/family wishing to attend the Awards Dinner will require a Ticket to gain entry.

Tickets must be pre-purchased, on-line, at RegisterNow during the race registration process.

Kieran Babich wins PaddleNSW Marathon10 event hosted by Wagga Bidgee CC

WAGGA Bidgee Canoe Club members have exceeded expectations in Saturday’s Bidgee Marathon.

About 100 boats hit the water of Murrumbidgee River on Saturday where Manly-Warringah kayaker Kieran Babich took the honours in a time of one hour and 40 minutes for the 20 kilometre course.

About 15 Wagga kayakers plan to use local knowledge to full advantage at the Wagga Bidgee Marathon on Saturday.

SIRC News: Herbicide Treatment in the Competition Lake

After a year long political fight, SIRC is finally able to apply a Herbicide Treatment in the Competition Lake.

In an update from SIRC this week we've been advised the following:

"The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority have issued the Sydney International Regatta Centre with a Permit for Minor Use of Fluridone for suppression of Vallisneria and Hydrilla.

Classic Myall Classic

In almost perfect conditions, nearly 300 paddlers took to the water for the 2015 Myall Classic paddling race on Saturday 12th September.
