Congratulations to the Australian freestyle team selected to represent Australia at the 2013 ICF Freestyle Kayaking World Championships held on the Nantahala River in North Carolina, USA.

Last Saturday weekend it was very wet windy for the Australian Junior National Championships at the Penrith Whitewater stadium.

 

 

 

Freestyle kayaker Kaar headed for World Championships

Rowan Kaar from Hazelbrook is off to the world championships in the U.S later this year and he couldn’t be happier.

The 15-year-old freestyle kayaker took out the Junior Freestyle Kayaking National Competition at Penrith’s Whitewater Stadium on Saturday after taking up the sport in 2009.

Lifejacket safety focus on Sydney's waterways - Roads and Maritime Services

Lifejacket safety will be a focus of Boating Safety Officers’ activity on Sydney’s waterways with the launch of a new campaign encouraging everyone to wear lifejackets at all times when on the water.
