PaddleNSW has some very specific training courses coming up. You will need to be experienced in conducting courses to various client groups at various times during the week and weekend. Please forward a one page CV of your qualifications and experience to educationatpaddleNSW [dot] org [dot] au.

Dubbo Group skill up on the Macquarie River

Nine participants from all over the west came to Dubbo to hone their skills for Guiding on the Macquarie River.

Upcoming Training Courses

PaddleNSW would like to make 2012 the year for Assessors, Trainers and Mentors. Experienced members who have held Coach or Instructor qualifications for a couple of years and successfully complete their assessor courses will be reimbursed all expenses. And a Professional development will be held in June for all qualifieds to hear from the best in our field.

Beginner Whitewater Experience held on the Barrington River in December

The River Canoe Club hosted a whitewater experience for PaddleNSW recreational paddlers. Thirty five paddlers, including instructors and beginners enjoyed a great water level in perfect weather.
