This picture is from one trip in NSW on the Shoalhaven which takes 3 to 4 days paddling with all of your gear & food. Your trip may be "just" a quick paddle across the local lake. It makes no difference. Its all about being prepared. In recent years in NSW 3 paddlers came to grief on the water for reasons that are not fully explained.

PaddleNSW goes to Condobolin
Submitted by LynnP on Thu, 29/11/2012 - 10:03Recently, PaddleNSW Flatwater instructor travels six hours to Forbes to assess 7 new Guides to run the River Dreaming Tours on the Lachlan River. The tours are an initiative of the Lachlan Catchment Management Authority to introduce school children and locals to experiencing the beauty of the Lachlan River and the surrounding landscape first hand.
