The PaddleNSW Board is pleased to announce that there has been no increase in membership for the new financial year. The following are the categories for 2013/14. PaddleNSW membership will be open from June 2013.
Member Category
Paddle NSW National Competition Member – compete at state, national or Australian Canoeing Events.
PaddleNSW Member – eligible to participate in all PaddleNSW Events only.
Paddle NSW National Competition Member - Adult $99
Paddle NSW National Competition Member - Junior 12 to 17 yrs $77
Paddle NSW Member (CLUB MEMBER) - Adult $66
Paddle NSW Member (CLUB MEMBER) - Junior 12 to 17 yrs $50
DIRECT Paddle NSW Member (NON CLUB MEMBER) - Adult $88
(Only club members are eligible for PNSW competitive events.)
Paddle NSW STUDENT MEMBER - $50
PADDLE NSW FAMILY MEMBERSHIP (MUST BE CLUB MEMBER) - $200
PADDLENSW FIVE YEAR MEMBER (MUST BE CLUB MEMBER) - $300
SINGLE ENTRY MEMBERSIP - $15

Advocacy
By becoming a new member you will also assist us with improving our advocacy initiatives on behalf of our membership base. The more members we have the bigger our voice will be. In 2011 we became an official Boating Safety Partner with Maritime NSW. We also have a seat on the Recreational Vessels Advisory Group (RVAG) that comprises representatives of peak recreational user groups, including Yachting NSW, Australian Power Boat Association, NSW Rowing Association, NSW Water-Ski Association and Boat Owners' Association of NSW as well as representatives from Marine Rescue NSW and NSW Police.
Affiliation
PaddleNSW is affiliated with Australian Canoeing, which means that every PaddleNSW member is also a member of Australian Canoeing. Those members of PaddleNSW, who wish to compete in National Championships in any paddlesport, or to seek selection in National Teams, must be PNSW National Competition Member.
Please note the following:-
Children under 12 years are free, if included on their parent’s membership application. Please add their name and date of birth to your membership application.
New members, or those who failed to renew the previous year are required to pay a joining fee of $11.
Postal Membership – please add an administration fee of $5
