Beginner Whitewater Experience held on the Barrington River in December

The River Canoe Club hosted a whitewater experience for PaddleNSW recreational paddlers. Thirty five paddlers, including instructors and beginners enjoyed a great water level in perfect weather. After a long energetic day of surprise and elation, everyone settled down for a "good" debrief and campfire before some well earned rest and reflection for the 12km trip from Cobark Junction to the Steps on Sunday. Six new Instructors will surely be accreditied after their challenging assessment which included sound river management skills for the novices in their charge.
