WelcomeWhat is Canoe polo ?Canoe polo is a ball game, played by 2 teams of 5 players. Each player sits in small kayak and wears protective gear. The game is played on a field (30m x 20m) layed out on a body of water (most often a swimming pool). Like most ball games, the idea is to score more goals than the opposition. The goals are square nets 1m x 1.5m, suspended 2 meters above the water, at each end of the field.

Just let me emphasise, the sport is suitable for all ages (10 to 60+), played by males and females. It is one of the few sports where all family members can play together (or against each other). Canoe polo is played all over the world, Australia is a significant force in the sport. In NSW, there is a regular competition played in Sydney, as well as some country town.
